PAPER CUTS - new beginning

It's been a while since I posted but if you follow me on my Flickr you know that I have kept working most the time :-)
End of last year, after my husband and I came back home from a great long period in Asia (our previous home), I started a new journey in my art - PAPER CUTS.
My new "toy" is a single tool, a knife. I have no clue how I came about this new (for me) art. I guess it is one of those things that will ever be I-don't-know-why-or how-but-I-love-it.
Maybe it's new and old venues and scenes that led me to it... or not... I just let it happen and I am happy.
I sat down and started to paint this flower, which is completely out of my comfort zone... I never paint or draw flowers. Getting tired and very bored in the middle I started cutting it. The results are below. This was the mile stone of my paper-cut art.

And mosaics?
I'll be doing them again, just as I'll go back to pottery and painting.
But right now I am enjoying my new "toy".
